My Angel
I can't explain the feeling
My head was in a whirl,
I brought a life into this world
A bouncing baby girl.
I hoped she'd call me Nana,
I hoped I'd see her grow,
But life has many twists and turns
How was I to know?
I pray to God to give you strength
To help you find your way,
That one day you will understand
The things that I did say.
You have chosen to exclude me
To leave me out once more,
But my love for you will never die
Nor that baby that I adore.
You can't take away my memories
That I keep inside of me,
The birth of my sweet angel
Nana; I'll always be.
