to all of our American family!

I am just going to say to Everyone.

Today has been one of those "rough" days for me. I don't care what the Weatherman says, we are going to get some rain.

Mary, enjoy your stay down with your daughter. I know that the Grandkids are going to love having you there.

MrsMuffin, it is so nice to see you back posting again. We have all really missed you. Friends 'R' Family just isn't the same without you being at the helm with me.

Char, sorry that you keep missing the fireworks. Maybe you can catch them on the CNN later on after you get home. I know that it isn't the same, but, at least you can see some of the excitement and celebrations.

Letta, glad that you finally got your first pay cheque. That will help somewhat for all of the grief that you have had to go through with the first few weeks of your job. Enjoy your mini vacation.

Shirley, I have to say it again, I just love your graphics. I would love to see your collection on photobucket. I bet that it puts mine to shame.

Joyce, I am so happy that you got to spend the day with Hope. I know that she just adores her Auntie Joyce.

To Everyone else, have a wonderful day!

19 hours til I leave for the first vacation I've had in 8 years. Man am I excited!! We're only going up to northern NB for the weekend but you'd think it was Paris for a month the way I've been going on. I am so excited!
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend, I'll think of you while I'm sipping daiquiris by the brook! No phone, no computer, no video games, no tv... heaven I tell ya, glorious, blissfully quiet, heaven!
Hugs and Hi's all around!

well we're just waiting for a couple that we hang out with sometimes to show up. We're going to play board games. We have a ton of board games in our house. I try to buy at least one new one every Christmas but it's getting harder and harder to pick a new one. Mark and Kiana would like electronic monopoly~personally i hate monopoly but they keep saying i'll like the electronic one. hugs to everyone

Hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday. It was a bit cool here in Iowa. Saw a few backyard fireworks. The kids that were there had fun. Lots of good food. So I get paid to party at times. These special needs people need help all the time., so I don't mind working. Most families are good at, if I need a day off, we can rearrange the days.

Shirley--enjoy your day. (((HUGS))) to you

Joyce--Hope the planning is going well for your party.

Letta-- I know what you mean, about getting away for the weekend being a vacation. We used to do that about once a month, but now can't afford it. It felt great to get away. Have fun and stay safe.

Mrsmuffin-- It sounds like a fun time with the games. Maybe Mark can get that electronic game, if he wants it. LOL.

Lynne- Did it rain?, My knee tells me when it is going to. They say it is an old wives tale, but I don't know.

Mary-- (((HUGS))) to you. Hope you enjoyed the grandkids.

Everyone have a good weekend. (((HUGS))) all around.

Evening all. We spent the day at my moms. Kiana went swimming, Mark got called away to help a buddy move into his apartment. My bro bbq'd pork chops for supper and Mark and i went and bought some salads to go with it. Kiana is staying overnight at moms. I'd like to get some pics onto my walmart photo spot because they have 100 prints on sale for $15.00.
But my puter is so slow it takes forever to download the pics onto the walmart site. i guess if i get bored enought i'll do it and just read while it downloads. Have a great weekend everyone.

Hello everyone,

This is too cute, a coffee shop, love it, lol! Today I am at my sister's in Windosr, visiting her and my niece, my niece is ten yrs old and her name is Miya, she is a great kid, love her to pieces, she is currently learning how to play piano, she takes Spanish classes too, and is smart and athletic, wish I was her, lol! It is raining in Windsor today, maybe it will take away from all of this heat! Best wishes to everyone!

to all.

I wasn't around much yesterday, My Dad is in the hospital. Has some sort of infection, they don't know yet what. 10 Years ago he was diagnosed with chronic leukemia. He also has COPD and is on oxygen. Well lat week he was mowing the yard and a pine tree branch hit him in the forehead. Then he had a spray can nossle break on the can. It splashed into his face, going into his eyes. He didn't say anything until Saturday. Then my Mom took him into the ER. They sent him home on an antibiotic. He then went to the family doctor on Monday. That Dr changed his medicine. Within an hour of taking the new med (he's taken it before) he started having trouble breathing, face turned red and his temperature was way up. Mom called the dr because he was having an allergic reaction, which could be fatal. The Dr told Mom to give him tylenol and benedryl and if no improvement within an hour, take him to the ER. Well Dad asked to go to the Er. So you know he is feeling real bad. So we don't know what type of infection he has. Sepsis and MRSA has been mentioned. So now it is wait and see time.

Well it is hot around here. Hubby was suppose to call and find someone to come and look at the a/c, but of course, it's my fault he didn't because I didn't tell him when I wanted it done. Can you say "Yesterday?" But it's like anytime anything happens, it's my fault. Just what am I to do?

I hope everyone is well and having a good day.
