A warning to my readers. Some of the topics covered in my book may be hard to deal with. These are all real life events, my life events, and I am not shy about sharing them in all their horrific details. This book is being written to heal me as well as to help others and to tell my story.

I have just now realized there are probably folks here who have no idea what I'm talking about when I say, 'My Book". Here is a brief explanation.
I am writing a book, not a small undertaking for anyone, and I have one upped the difficulty factor by making it a chronicle of my life. I started writing when I was 12 years old. That was about the time in my life when I decided my story needed to be told.
I have made it easier for me to swallow by adding my own quirky sense of humor.
So sit and read if you like, I welcome comments as I am indeed my own worst critic.
Oh, the title for my masterpiece... Laughter Through the Tears: A Satirical Look at One Woman's Life. And thanks to Lynne's suggestion, it's to be set as a chronicle.

Truth can be stranger than fiction at times. Your's is a story that needs to be told. In doing so, I hope, just as you do, that it will help others as it heals you.

I know that there is content that will be graphic and not for the squeamish, however, I do not believe in censorship. Freedom of Speech is a Right and Privilege that I hold dear to my heart. We are very fortunate to live in Countries that allow us to think and speak what we are feeling.

My only suggestion to anybody who is reading your "Book" is that if they find it to be too difficult to digest, that they do not continue reading it.

Not telling your story, Letta, is like lying to yourself and to the world. You have the Right to tell it and the world has the privilege to read it.

I commend you for your continued tenacity to complete this Chronicle of your life and I still expect the first autographed copy of it once it is published. Laughing
