I am really looking forward to reading and sharing with everyone. Last month's coffee shop was so cool and so many members posted.

Remember, you can tell us how the weather is, what's for dinner, how your day is going, travel plans, whatever you want.

Right now, I sitting here at 5:00 a.m. eating some peanut butter and toast with my morning meds. I just love peanut butter and toast - especially if it is whole wheat toast.

Ever since Victoria Day, Bear has been spooked by loud noises. He has problems with thunder storms. We had a doozy of a storm the other night. Well, because of him being spooked, he won't go out at nighttime with Michael for his walks. It seems that once it gets really dark out, he doesn't want to go out. So, I have been going out with for walks late at night. I suppose that is good because I have been getting my walking in whether I want it or not.

I had a killer migraine last night. After dinner - well, what I could eat, I had to go and lay down. I just couldn't keep my head up. I woke up around 1:00 a.m. and I have been working on the Site ever since - except for the time away for the Kiddie's walk.

Ladies and Michael here we are in June already. My, My were did the first half of the year go. It is a cloudy day here but the sun is trying to get out. I am just having a cup of coffee and going to do a load of laundry. I got a kitten last night from a girl where they are staying one of the fellows has an allergy so she could not keep the kitten. Max does not think much of kitten yet but I am sure he will grow to like her. rolmao

Well I am off to get a few things done.

Hello everyone. We have something big, bright and yellow out in the sky today. I usually don't get to see much of it. I am needing to go to bed so I can work tonight. I do laundry on Fridays--my only day off--- so that is caught up. Still trying to get Kenny (my 18 year old) to get some cleaning done. But I guess he thinks sleep is more important during the day, so he can stay up at night. I haven't had any "homesteaders" for a few days. Someone left a FULL glass of pop next to the sofa the other day and when my hubby sat in the loveseat, it spilled-EVERYWHERE. I have to find out who, so they can shampoo my carpet. Do you think that will happen? Not!!!

Lynn I hope you are feeling better. I haven't had a migraine, so I don't know how you feel. I have a bad knee and need a new one, but can't afford to take time off work right now. Maybe someday.

Joyce, have fun with the kitten. Just like kids, they grow so fast. I have 3 and am thinking of getting another. Hubby will kill me if I do,but oh well...

Hi Everyone. Well weather wise here I would say it was
a fair day. Planted some dwarf sunflower seeds. Then went and visited my Mom and stepfather for a bit. My Mom gave me a Elvis teddy bear the paws are signed on the bottom.

The kitty is settleing in good, sleeping here by the keyboard. Have to learn her not to put here paws on the keys. rolmao

We went and visited Hope and Austin yesterday for part of the afternoon. That made my day day seeing her smile and getting a hug. Just made things all right with the world.

Greetings All,

Well, I spent the morning faxing documents to Disability. So much needs to be done before going to the Hospital.

In the afternoon, after I had lunch, I laid down for a nap. Michael let me sleep right through. I woke up around 6:30 p.m. I suppose that I was really tired.

I had a couple of good days there and now things are starting to act up again. I suppose that is good in one way. At least my Surgeon will have something to look at.

Last night, the Girl slept on the bed. Geez, she is worse than a two legged kid. She flip flopped all over the place and when she flops, she flops! If I didn't know better, I would say that she did it on purpose. rolmao

Bear has been my shadow again today. Last night, he did go out with Michael after dark without any problems. Hopefully, he is getting back to normal.

There isn't really on the idiot box tonight. I am sitting here listening to a documentary on President Harry Truman on P.B.S. I have seen it a couple of times, but, it is better than anything else that is on.

I know what u mean Lynne, Shadow flops down also, and has to flop right on your legs, he likes to touch. iM JUST getting ready to go to bed., I have to get this mind of mine in slow mode..it just keeps racing. I hate it.,tonight my left hip is bothering me again, so I dont know whats going on their, I see both the chiropractor and physio tomorrow after work. I just don't want to go to work tomorrow, I just feel like I don't want to do anything anymore. don is feeling really bad stll, as I, even when hewent to the bank today, they asked him what was wrong. And everytime I look at 'An thony, I just want to cry, and in bed at night I do, and I try to do it quietly so don doesnt here me.. Like Don says I don't know where we went wrong with our kids. first it was Gina, now Anthony...I don't know when it's going to end...well maybe i do.....Mary

Joyce, I am so glad Hope is doing so well. She is so precious. I can just imagine her smile would light up a room. That's picture time. You can turn her into a ham. LOL

Lynne, Can I ask? what type of surgery are you having? I think I came into this too late to know. I know what you mean about tv. You can have + channels with cable or satellite, and still have nothing to watch. At night there is nothing but reruns, and usually nothing I want to see again. So it's the old sitcoms, that you don't have to think about.

Mary, I don't know w hat you mean about your kids, coming in late.(I'm good at that) LOL,.. I know what it is like to have troubled kids. I'm sure you are doing fine with them. Just remember, "God doesn't give you anymore than you can handle".

Hello everyone. Well the day started out nice and sunny but by late afternoon there was thunder and a down pour of rain. I did some more laundry today mostly bedding. Finally took off the storm windows today and put the screens back on.
If I knew how to put pictures on I would have some of Hope. Austin put acouple of new on her site.

char59- Hope is a little ham now, she is so funny. Hope also knows now the 2 people she has wrapped around her finger. Hope's
blog is done by Austin(Dada) my brother. He is a single Dad and I am very proud of him. The mother walked away when she could not see herself taking care of Hope. Hope spent the first 6 months of her life at the IWK she was on oxygen and a feeding tube. When she was released she also came home with it.

had a nice sunny day with a bit of wind. right now my fibro is so bad i can barely walkd around. the pain is so feirce. lots of rest ing and watching the boob tube. if i don't move i don't hurt.

Hi Shirl, well the chiro helped pain in hips, so far so good, physio helped my heel a little, i have bursitis at the back of the heal, so he is trying acupuncture..

Well it's almost bedtime but i thought i'd pop in for a few minutes and get caught up. I've got a stupid migraine again, i think it might be the weather or it could be stress. Just checking in on everyone. Suppose to get more rain today and the rest of the week. We had some minor flooding yesterday. It didn't bother me tho. Hubby didn't say if any water seeped into the basement. We need foundation work done. Want to hear something funny? My hubby is a contractor and can do this type of work. Will it get done? NOOO!
Shirl--Hope you are feeling better. I have heard of a few people with Firbo, but have not experienced that pain myself.

Joyce-- Does Hope still have the feeding tube? I really commend Austin for what he is doing. He sounds very devoted. I will have to go to her album and take a better look. Havent had time lately.

Lynn-- Sounds like you will be "Nana" very soon. Keep us posted.

Nippercat--Hope things are going better for you. I'n sure I speak for everyone here, If you need to talk- we will listen. (((HUGS)))) to you

Hi everyone. A bit late getting around today. Well it was a rainy day here all day. Spent the day with my Mom. We spent the morning at Austin's and watched Hope until dinner time. Then the Sarge gave him the afternoon off. The babysitter was not feeling well. It is always nice when I can have time with Hope.

char59-- Yes Hope still has the feeding tube. She has an assesment tomorrow and then about 2 weeks after that the swallow test. She has not had oxygen since last August. At the top of Hope's page there is a spot called my story click on that her story is there.
Lynne-- A baby how exciting. I hope you are feeling up to the excitement.

Hi Everyone,
Hope all is well. It's been storming here and is to storm for about 3 days. Just hope nothing too severe.
Joyce-- the feeding tube that Hope has, is the type of things I work with. I work also with oxygen and trachs and vents. It' s just amazing what some of these little people go through and be so happy all the time. I am awe of the parents that have to deal with the special needs 24/7. I'm not sure I could do that. I will take the child for 8 to 12 hours a day, and do fine.
