I can't get over how many posts that we had in last month's coffee shop. It was great hearing from so many of our members every day! Let's see if we can outdo June's Coffee Shop in July!
Well, last night, the fireworks started going off and Bear was fit to be tied. We ended up going into the bedroom and we had just fallen asleep when someone set off a bunch of fireworks again in the field across the street from our building. That just set Bear right off again. Finally, he settled down again, but the moment that I woke up again, he was right up and beside me. Tomorrow night should be just a blast for us.
On a brighter note, my balcony is finally finished. We have taken a few pix but I want to take a couple of more. Our fountain overflowed yesterday my accident (it was pure tap water) and my lovely neighbours who live below me started yelling up at Michael. The water only hit the edge of their railing and continued to drip down to the ground below.
That was not a good idea when he started yelling. I went right out on the balcony and sat there by the railing and talked in a loud enough voice for them to hear me that they had better back off or I am going to take legal steps against them again. I am in so much pain these past few weeks that I really don't care who I yell at right now. If someone ticks me off, they are going to hear it. These tenants have been told that if there is one more complaint about them that will be facing eviction. At least it is nice weather for that to happen.
In all of the years that I have lived in this building, I have never been able to use my balcony in the summer months. There has always been something from drug user below me, beside or above me; mentally ill tenants who didn't know how to keep their mouths shut - thinking that I wouldn't say or do anything because I knew them and now, I have a drunk who lives below me. I remember one night I fell up here and she had the nerve to call the Super and complain about it!
Michael and I did have the last laugh on them tonight, though. Mind you, it did kind of tick me off. They actually called the Police on me! Of course the police did not show up and they probably laughed at the drunks, but, just the same, you don't call the Police over something as frivolous as a little bit of water dripping down from the balcony above you! Ahh, gee, with all of the rain that we have been having, have they complained to the Weather Office because the rain came on their balcony?
Bear is sleeping on his blankie in the livingroom. I think that I may be able to do a couple of new updates here on the site, so, I wish all you a wonderful day and I send big hugs to All! _________________

Lynne-- Sounds like you never have a dull moment around your place. Just keep laughing and remember who you are talking about.

Happy Canada Day everyone. It was a warm here today, We
just stayed home today. Had a Bbq for supper. My Mom's car decided to quit working on us yesterday. Never knew it took so long to get to the grocery and back, We
spent more time parked on the side of the road. JP towed it back to their
house to fix it. The fuel pump went on it.
Char- Yes Hope is back to her happy playful self. So nice to see.
Have a great evening. _________________

Okay, I went to the Specialist today. So far, no cancer - at least on the inside of my bowels. He did say that I have prolapsed rectum - isn't that special.
We talked about how I have been feeling and that led to more eye opening evaluating. I am now booked for a C-scan at the Hospital. I have to get an ultra sound done on my abdomen and I have to go in Hospital on August 7 for Gastroscopy. I also have to get some more Lab Work done.
We are thinking that I have ulcers all the way through my gastrointestinal tract. That makes sense considering years ago, I had a number of ulcers. I had them cleared up with medication and now, obviously, they are all back.
He said that the polyps in my bowels were caused by scarring. That doesn't surprise me. I have had so many polyps from scarring removed from other body parts internally and externally.
So now, we are doing a game of elimination. I told the Doctor that he had better start keeping a closet with spare body parts in it for me. I think that we are going to need them.
On Wednesday July 9, I have my echo cardiogram done.
Monday July 21, I have the Ultra Sound done.
Tuesday July 22, I see my Shrink again - boy, I am going to need to talk to him.
Thursday August 7, is the date for my Gastroscopy.
In between those dates, they will put me in the C-Scan and I have to get the Lab Work done.
I remember in the old days, when there were so many tests to be done, they would book you in the Hospital and get them all done at once. Oh well, times have changed - progress has recessed.
Big Hugs to All! _________________

Hi everyone,
Well it is another hot day here today. Spent the day with my Mom yesterday which actually ended up at Austin's for the day. JP was working on the babysitters car. So I did not mind at all I actually spent the day with Hope. Today I am doing up the laundry.
Char- Austin did not take to the fireworks. ope does not seem to like sharp noises. Austin was using the packing tape she id not like that sound, yesterday JP used a drill she did not like that and at my cousins benefit a girl was to close to the mile and that even got a reaction out of Hope.
Lynne-- That is good news no cancer. Wishing you well on all upcoming appointments
Have a great day everyone. _________________

Hugs to one and all!
Sorry I've not been around much, getting up for work at 4am sure does take a lot out of this old fat body of mine. I usually get home around 9am then sleep a while longer. By the time I get up it's lunch time or after and too hot to stay still.
We had a great Canada Day; bbq with Mike's family, lots of laughs and a couple bottles of wine We took in the fireworks with Colleen and Tony, who are expecting twins so there was lots of discussion on the baby shower I'm throwing them in a couple months. We got home very late and I got very little sleep before having to once again get up at 4am for work.
I like my job and all but 4am.. holy smokes it's rough.
Today is my very first payday, I'm all excited. I tried to nap a couple times, no dice.
I went out this morning though and picked up a new fish for my new tank I got yesterday, a red fin shark. He's gorgeous! We're hoping he won't eat the tetras but if he does we'll just get him a bigger friend.
We are going on vacation this weekend. Mike's parents have a summer house in northern NB so we're going to spend a couple days there relaxing and sleeping a lot. Mike is taking Dylan fishing for the first time, hopefully there'll be something biting other than mosquitoes
I'm just looking forward to no phones, no tv, no video games and lots of quiet.
Hoping to get some shopping done tonight, I need a new pair of work pants, the ones I have now just aren't cutting it.
That's about it for now for me, I'm going to go down and find some coffee and chat a bit with Mike before heading out to pick up our pay. Have a great day all! _________________

Sure hope everyone has a happy and safe 4th. even our neighbors to the north.LOL
I just have to work as usual. My client is going to his sister's house for a small party, so I will be meeting him over there. Probably won't be able to see any fireworks. I seem to miss them every year. I like to see them.
Joyce--Yes I can see where Hope would not like the loud noises. Austin made a good choice, not taking Hope out to them.
Letta-- good to hear from you. Don't spend all your pay in one place
Mrsmuffin--((HUGS)) to you.
